Dr.-Ing. Julia Linke
Dr. Linke studied chemical engineering and physics at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and the University of York (UK). After her studies, she worked as a researcher in the field of magnetic thin film layers and fluids at the Department of Materials Science & Metallurgy at the University of Cambridge and the Chair of Magnetofluid Dynamics, Measurement and Automation Technology at the TU Dresden before earning her doctorate at the TU Dresden. In addition to her doctorate, she also completed the certificate course for intellectual property rights at the TU Dresden.
From 2016 to 2018, Dr. Linke worked for a company in the solar industry as a patent professional. Afterwards, she successfully completed her training as a patent attorney and worked as a freelancer and officer in the transfer division of the headquarters of the Leibniz Association. In July 2022, Dr. Linke was named partner at Kailuweit & Uhlemann. She is registered as a German Patent Attorney and admitted as a representative before the European Patent Office and before the Office of the European Union for Intellectual Property (EUIPO).
Dr. Linke advises clients regarding patent research, as well as drafting and prosecution of patent and utility model applications in the fields of physics and process engineering. She further focuses on trademark law and employees’ invention law matters.
Dr. Linke is a member of the Federal Association of German Patent Attorneys and the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR),
