Oktober M. Miller earned his Juris Doctorate from the John F. Kennedy School of Law in Pleasant Hill, California. As part of his legal education, he completed externships in the areas of employment law, medical malpractice law and tort law.
In addition to his Juris Doctorate, he also earned certification as a legal mediator through his training as a state court appointed negotiator.
From 2009 to 2014, Oktober served as a trial attorney in both civil and criminal practice.
Oktober joined Kailuweit & Uhlemann as a trademark professional in 2022. The focus of his work is in assisting our patent attorneys with preparing and evaluating searches on new trademark applications, conflict monitoring, handling out-of-court proceedings, and drafting responses to inquiries from both the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
