Marion Thees studied Electrical Engineering with focus on semiconductor and microsystem technologies at TU Dresden. She was a visiting scholar at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, USA and afterwards worked as technical staff at TU Dresden, Institute of Semiconductors and Microsystems. Subsequent to a ten-year work as patent professional at a Munich patent law firm, she has been part of the team of Kailuweit & Uhlemann since 2014.

Marion is European Patent Attorney and employed with our patent law firm in this function. Her special work fields are semiconductors and microsystems and respective production technologies, information technology, general electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.

Besides the preparation of new patent applications and their prosecution during the examination procedures before the European Patent Office, she assists the patent attorneys of our law firm in patent infringement and invalidation proceedings.

Her working languages are German and English.
